This wool jumper dress was made with some leftover wool yardage. The applique and sleeve details are made from scraps from an alteration project.

The yardage on this piece was not cut, but edged and sewn as is, to fit the body form .
Linen dress back
Gauze lining found in stock was used to create the back inner godet giving the dress a Romanesque touch

Here the white godets were extracted from the skirt to create a matching top made from leftover sweatshirt fabric. The result a stunning two piece with a strong graphic message

Inspired by the work of Daniel Silverstayn who sews fabric out of scraps this sweatshirt is literally built from scraps zigzagged together to form in interesting textural translation of a sweatshirt.
Culotte and Top set
The top made from leftover fabrics, an old skirt sample gets a new life as culottes with green cotton inserts.
The skirt takes a trip to NYFW streets last year. (Top made of recycled polyester .)

Echoes of the Jacket Top style in MTJF ready to wear collection this stunning piece is made with leather accents taken from a factory dumpster. This leather was so soft and easy to work with , it would have been a shame to go to waste.
